Repeated motions of gently playing with his hair his head lays upon her stomach. Weighted warmth comforts every inch as his curled up body begins to flinch. The rise and fall of her stomach lulls him to sleep, and just in this one peaceful moment, the rolls have reversed; she gets to protect him like he has always done for her.
"The ever changing requests of soft sweet lullabies in the dark, knowing she is going to be alright her petite body relaxes. Mom’s comforting hand rests atop the covers giving warmth to her foot as she becomes more and more sleepy. Her halo of protective friends that she, just five minutes before, had carefully placed around her pillow sit peacefully smiling. The magnificent scent-filled kitty lay upon her chest as her baby carrot fingers wear a bigger spot on his ear. Suckling on her thumb she drifts into whimsy"
She felt warmth through his words,
He couldn't feel hers
Not, at least, the way she meant them
Like fireworks screaming right before the explosion
Laughing till tears come out of your eyes
A thin yellow line on the horizon, right before the sunrise,
A smile that spreads in ripples right before it hits their eyes.
All the things that occur right before the main event
They explain it enough, but nothing like what is meant
The exchange of goodnights
Frustrated she became
For her dreams didn't do justice to her reality,
Nothing was ever the same.
When it comes to make up and beauty do they go hand-in-hand? Some say yes, some say no but if you're not the one wearing make up then where did you become so entitled as to how much or little someone else puts on? If a woman wants to wear make up to make herself feel better and confident then leave her alone. Not everyone feels beautiful the same way. In saying this every woman with or without make up is entirely incased in beauty all on her own. Women don't owe beauty to men or society. We don't owe them curvy waste lines, full lips and doe eyes. We don't owe them perfect teeth, skin and manicured nails. When you begin to look at a woman for who she is rather than what she looks like, you know like the human being she is, you can find a lot more beauty. Nobody and no body is perfect, you might want to keep that in mind next time you pick on a woman's appearance; because lets face it in 30 years when you have hair growing out of your ears but none on your head you won't be too "cute" either honey 😊
When we aren't specifically looking for something but then it is stated in non-hopeful, are we allowed to be disappointed? And if we are dissapointed does that mean secretly we've been hoping for this thing to happen all along? If that's the case do we lie to ourselves only when needed or always?
Take pride in how far you have come and have faith in how far you can go
